Rant of the Week

I missed blogging yesterday... crap!
Today, I've just got one thing on my mind. Abraham Lincoln.
I've been reviewing all the @#$% about him in history.
He:
declared secession illegal
single-handedly increased the size of the federal army (Congress is supposed to do it)
nullified writ of habeas corpus
put newspapers out of business when they didn't agree with him
established supervised voting in Border States- you know, just in case

The army he led:
Burned homes, cities, crops, and killed livestock
Not only is this morally wrong, but it is plain outrageous as well.
1- Soldiers were fighting against their families- brother against brother
2- The South seceded, Lincoln had no governmental authority over them

So, not only did Southerners have to fight for the right to secede, they had to come home and realize that they were virtually penniless. Deprived of labor (okay, that's the one good thing that happened), capital, homes and the means of making a living.
I hate Lincoln. People love him because he was a "martyr for his cause", but really guys? He wasn't an abolitionist. His primary goal was to save the Union. That's why he wanted war.
I'm also sick of hearing bullcrap stuff about how presidents- like Obama and Lincoln- "inherited a national, political mess".
They asked for it!

Say No To Landfills

Quote from my Biology book,

"Human activities can pollute land and water in several ways. Humans produce and must dispose of waste in the form of sewage and unused materials. This pollutes the Earth and kills animals." (Yes, I have taken some liberties with the last sentence for the sake of my fingers.)

So, in other words. {drumroll}

Everything you do pollutes the Earth. Humans produce and dispose of waste in the form of sewage and unused materials. In order to help end this seemingly unending stream of disgusting waste, I feel that we should all eat the peels of our bananas and eat fiber no longer in order to save the planet.

I really should start writing Textbooks.

You guys should like, so totally follow my example

Today I woke up at 8:30 and rolled my fat butt out of bed. Then, I ate a healthy (wink, wink) breakfast of donuts, turnovers, and crepes filled with massive amounts of Reddi Whip. Then, as I was driving to school, I stopped at the Maverick and got a super size hot chocolate and some ho- hos. I slept through most of my classes for the better half of the morning and then got a Coke to wake me up.... oh and while I was at the vending machines I also got a couple of candy bars for lunch. Because I can.

The day passed much like this... because every day is so, like totally the same.

Imagine how, like, surprised I was to come home and read an article about how Michelle Obama thinks that we should all start moving around a little bit more, and like, probably she means eating vegetables and fruits and stuff instead of living off of convenience stores and fast food restaurants. Even though I will never understand why, I was so, like totally enlightened with this new quest of hers.
I absolutely heart the idea of like, changing peoples lives and stuff like that, which is my new goal in life... And also, I think Michelle Obama is my new hero. Even though she likes holding sweet potatoes and I don't.

(<< Look at her super buff arms. It's because she moves, peeps.)

Oh... BTW, the new campaign thingy is called Let's Move.

So get off of the computer.

Come again?

Michelle Obama to Reporters: My kids are fat.

Michelle Obama to her kiddos: Here's a complex, sweetie!
